We offer a quality packing and removal service, to suit our customers individual requirements, aiming to ensure moving with J & H Friend is a stress free experience.
Our staff are experienced in handling high value items such as furniture, glass, China and works of art.
We pride ourselves on the care taken in packing and moving our clients from their properties, whether it be a cottage of a large country house. Many of our clients have used our services on more than one occasion, recommending J &H Friend to family and friends, resulting in the majority of our work coming by way of recommendation.
After contacting us regarding a potential removal or storage, we will arrange a free no obligation quote at a mutually convenient time to come and view the goods to be packed and moved. At this point we will discuss your individual requirements and subsequently formulate a removal plan, followed by a quotation of our charges.
We have modern and secure climate controlled warehouses in Forest Row, with monitored Alarms and Smoke systems and CCTV.
A detailed inventory is made of clients’ goods, a copy of which is sent to the clients. A photo inventory can be made, especially if goods are to be stored for a long time( an additional charge will be made for this service)
Insurance cover can be arranged, which is based on the declared value of the goods to be stored.
We offer a regular collection and delivery service to London from the Sussex area.
We would usually collect from Sussex one day and deliver the next. High value items would be transported as a special journey, with an extra premium.
